In this video, Alan Sackrin answers a question that he has been asked many times before by clients and visitors to this site. If you have questions after watching the video, Alan is available to talk with you now and answer your questions free of charge:

Q: How can I prove that the store owner knew about the dangerous conditions that led to my slip and fall accident?

A: Many times it is very difficult to prove that the store owner or an employee of the store actually knew of the dangerous condition. After an accident, many times, employees will come over to the scene and one of them may say something indicating that employee knew about it and had called for it to be cleaned up but it hadn’t been cleaned up at the time. Sometimes you can prove that a store owner had knowledge of a condition because the condition had occurred over and over and over again such as with a leaking roof. It’s difficult to show that the store owner had actual knowledge of the condition. Each case depends upon it’s own facts.
